Distinguished Talent Visa Changes

Several changes were made to the distinguished talent visa officially referred to as subclass 858 visa on the 14^th November 2020. This visa option is for those that have been widely recognized as having a record of outstanding and exceptional achievement in research, academia, arts, sport, or a profession. The Department of Home Affairs made some changes to the visa in three ways: This visa option has been repealed and you have the option of applying for an 858 visa from any part of the world. The changes enable people who have several visas to apply for this one. Also, people on bridging visas (category A, B, or C) can apply to this. The health requirement for this visa has changed as well; essentially implying individuals with health conditions will probably secure a visa.
